José María del Romero was educated at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and graduated in law in 1978. He has dedicated his professional life to the defense and promotion of the Voluntary Sector, and has over 40 years’ experience in Succession Law.
After a time advising different social organizations, he began his professional collaboration with Médicos Sin Fronteras-España in 1995. A pioneer in the development and implementation of Succession and Legacy Programs for NPOs, his work has always focused on human and social aspects and he is totally committed to high professional standards.
A former lecturer on the Master's Degree in the Management of Non-Governmental Organizations at the ESADE, he has also participated in many conferences, radio programs and colloquiums organized by the most important NGOs.
Founder of Del Romero Abogados, he continues to lead the firm, being in charge of the different Succession and Legacy Programs created for NPOs.
